AIgile Pty Ltd ("AIgile", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to everyone who uses aigile.com.au, our dashboard, and our tools — whether you have an account or you're trying a free contract scan without one.
1. The information we collect
Information you give us directly
- •Account details — name and email address, via Clerk (our authentication provider) when you sign up.
- •Organisation details — your company or organisation name, if you create or join one.
- •Contract documents and content — the actual contracts, notices, and related files you upload for analysis.
- •Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details ourselves.
- •Communications — anything you send us via our contact form or email.
Information collected automatically
- •Usage data — which features you use, how many scans or analyses you run, and basic activity timestamps, so we can operate the service and enforce plan limits.
- •Technical data — IP address and browser information, collected as a standard part of how our hosting infrastructure (Vercel) operates, not through any separate tracking tool.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or any behavioural analytics tooling. We checked our own codebase directly to confirm this before writing this policy, rather than assume — there is currently no such tracking anywhere in this product.
2. How we use your information
- •To provide the service — running your contract scans, generating reports, and operating your account.
- •To process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
- •To send you service emails — for example, letting you know a scan is ready, or that an unpaid scan is approaching automatic deletion.
- •To maintain and improve the platform, including diagnosing bugs and monitoring system performance.
- •To comply with our legal obligations.
Your uploaded contracts are processed to generate your report. That processing is carried out by our AI provider under its own terms — see the providers listed below.
3. Who we share your information with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make AIgile work, each acting on our instructions to provide their specific part of the service:
AWS Bedrock
Processes contract text to generate your risk analysis. Uses AWS’s global infrastructure, which may process data in Australia or in other countries depending on availability.
Clerk
Authentication — manages account sign-up, login, and session security.
Supabase
Our database — stores your account, project, and scan data.
Stripe
Payment processing for subscriptions and one-off purchases.
Resend
Delivers transactional emails (scan-ready notices, account emails).
Vercel
Hosts the application itself.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a genuine business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
4. Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers, including the AWS infrastructure that powers our AI analysis, operate globally and may process or store your information on servers located outside Australia as part of their own infrastructure. Each provider maintains its own security standards, and we don't operate their infrastructure ourselves.
5. How long we keep your information
- •Free, unpaid contract scans started without an account are scheduled for automatic deletion 30 days after upload if never unlocked, including the uploaded file itself.
- •Everything else — your account details, projects, contracts, notices and outputs — is kept for as long as your account is active. We don’t currently delete this data on a routine schedule, including after a subscription ends, so it stays until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
- •You can delete your own account from your Account settings. That removes your projects, contracts and account data from our live systems. It doesn’t remove data that belongs to your organisation or to other members of it; to have that deleted, contact us.
- •You can also ask us to delete your account, your organisation’s data, or specific information at any time by emailing us. We handle these requests manually and will act on them within a reasonable timeframe.
- •Copies held by our service providers, such as backups and operational logs, follow their own retention practices and may remain for a period after we delete data from our systems.
- •We may retain limited records where required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes, even after deletion.
6. Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you generally have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can:
- •Delete your own account and your own projects and contracts at any time from your Account settings.
- •Contact us directly to request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete specific information, including data held at organisation level.
We'll respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate checkout securely. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.
8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including relying on established providers (AWS, Supabase, Clerk, Stripe) that maintain their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. If something goes wrong
If we become aware of a data breach that's likely to result in serious harm, we'll notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in line with Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
10. Children's privacy
AIgile is a business tool intended for construction industry professionals. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll email the address on your account. Continued use of AIgile after a change means you accept the updated policy.
