Refund Policy

Last updated 22 September 2026

This policy covers our one-off scan reports and subscription plans (Lite, Essential). It doesn't limit any right you already have under the Australian Consumer Law — see section 3 below, which is the most important part of this page.

1. One-off scan reports ($35 unlock)

A one-off report is delivered immediately on payment — you get full access to your unlocked report the moment checkout completes. Because the product is delivered instantly and in full, we generally don't offer refunds for a simple change of mind once a report has been unlocked and delivered. Any refund outside the situations described in this policy is offered at our discretion, not as a right.

If the report genuinely fails to generate, or you were charged without receiving a working report, contact us — that's not a change-of-mind situation, and we'll make it right.

2. Subscriptions (Lite, Essential)

  • •You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Account page.
  • •We don’t provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a current billing period when you cancel — you’ll retain access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
  • •Switching between Lite and Essential takes effect immediately, with the difference in price prorated for the remainder of your current billing period — you’re only charged (or credited) for the actual difference, not a fresh full price.

3. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or attempts to contract around any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If AIgile fails to be provided with acceptable care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose we described, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of what this page says — including a refund in appropriate circumstances.

4. Billing errors

If you believe you've been charged incorrectly — the wrong amount, a duplicate charge, or a charge after you'd already cancelled — contact us straight away. We'll investigate and correct genuine billing errors.

5. How a refund is actually processed

All payments and refunds are handled by Stripe, our payment processor — we don't move money directly ourselves. Where a refund is approved, it's issued back to your original payment method through Stripe. Stripe submits the refund to your bank immediately, but banks typically take 5-10 business days to actually show the credit on your statement — this timing is set by your bank, not by us, and we can't speed it up on our end.

6. How to request a refund or raise an issue

Email info@aigile.com.au or use our contact form, including your account email and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
